Birth and Death

Ruth is reportedly the daughter of Viola Cole and raised by Hettie as her own. This is unproven. Ruth was born February 10, 1893 according to the 1900 census and 1894 on other documents.

Ruth died one day after her birthday February 11th, 1988. She had lived with complications of a stroke for many years. She passed after a previous (ten months) heart attack weakened her . Her final cause of death was sepsis.

She is buried in Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago , Illinois.

Marriage

Ruth was married to Ike Riddle who was killed between 1917-19 in Arkansas.
Ruth married secondly James Taylor who died on 29 Feb 1936. Her last husband was Mr. Moore. She spent most of her life in Illinois.
Ruth had three children with Ike Riddle, Sr.
