Carolina was presumed to be the mother of Frank but it is likely a register's error as his older sister's mother was Joanna and autosomal DNA of all descendants from the first set are close to equal centimorgans when in the same generation. In addition, the first ten children were always referred to as the first set and the second set born to Hettie Brown Johnson.
